English Summer Workshops
A summer without textbooks: learn English by doing, cooking, creating and performing. Small groups, 100% experiential methodology.
English you learn by doing
At our Summer Workshops, we set textbooks and desks aside to learn English through experience, movement and emotion. Activities take place inside our academy spaces, built around three creative pillars β the Β«WindowsΒ» β with occasional outings to make the most of our surroundings.
We work in small groups to ensure every student actively participates in at least 80% of the activities. No traditional teaching materials: English is the tool, not the subject.
See this summer's workshopEmpathy
Understanding how others feel in different situations, through shared play and creative activities.
Respect
Valuing each other's creations and efforts as an essential part of group learning.
Autonomy
Fostering initiative and self-direction: learning by doing, deciding and making mistakes.
Β«It Can Be...Β»
A unique improvisation game. We cut words into strips, pool them together and build sentences on the spot. No fear of getting it wrong, no script.
Β«It can be scary when you get lost.Β»
Everyday situations to practise core vocabulary and build the confidence to speak up.
Β«It can be embarrassing when you forget a special date.Β»
We introduce emotional nuance and more complex verbs to enrich spoken expression.
Β«It can be inspiring when you come up with a creative solution.Β»
Critical-thinking challenges with phrasal verbs and advanced structures for our most experienced learners.
